Community Activities

Overview

The Community Activities Department is responsible for special events, film permits, the rental of the Vista Lobos Community room, and the oversight of the weekly Farmers’ Market. 

COVID-19 UPDATED 11/12/2020

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the State and Monterey County Shelter-in-Place orders the Community Activities Department has suspended the issuance of all permits for special events and beach events. The rental of the Vista Lobos Community Room has also been put on hold.

The City of Carmel-by-the-Sea appreciates your cooperation in adhering to the State and Monterey County Shelter-in-Place Orders.  Please stay safe and we will all get together soon.
