Vegetables stacked at Farmers Market

The Carmel Farmers’ Market is held on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Sixth Avenue between Junipero and Mission Streets.

The Market features local certified organic fresh farm produce, eggs, plants, fresh cut flowers,  and specialty items such as olive oil, hummus, pizza and bread.

Green Waste Recovery provides a yellow food scrap bin for compostable items and Sustainable Carmel is often on site to answer any question regarding composting and recycling. Community Groups can also be seen at the Market working to improve local issues, as well as those with  a larger impact.

The Market is run by Good Roots, Inc. Please email Good Roots, Inc. at info@goodrootsfm.com if you are interested in participating in the market.

Please remember your four legged friends are not allowed inside the Farmer’s Market area.  This is a requirement from the Health Department.
