Please join us on Thursday, July 4, for the annual Monterey County Pops! 4th of July concert.

This festive day begins with an open rehearsal by the orchestra from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program formally begins with Monterey Peninsula Gospel Community Choir – under the direction of founder and renowned conductor John L. Nash, Jr. – with a dynamic performance from 1:00 pm to 1:45 p.m.

Steve DeCarli, President of Monterey County Pops! will welcome the public to the fourth annual July 4 performance at Devendorf Park, Carmel, at 2:00 p.m.

Judge Stephanie Hulsey, soprano, will sing The Star-Spangled Banner, America (My Country ‘Tis of Thee), America the Beautiful, and God Bless America.

The Carmel Host Lions will be cooking up hot dogs and bratwursts.  A hot dog meal is $7.50 and a bratwurst meal is $12.00  The meal includes your choice of chips and soda or water.  Look for them on 6th Avenue.
