The City of Carmel-by-the-Sea is seeking proposals for theatrical programming and facility management of the Forest Theater.
City of Carmel-by-the-Sea is soliciting proposals from qualified persons and organizations to enter into a lease agreement for theatrical programming and facility management of the Forest Theater.
Proposals must be postmarked no later than Friday, May 28, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
The City will hold a mandatory pre-proposal site tour Friday, April 23 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Forest Theater Site. Masks and social distancing will be required at all times.
Reminder
It's time to renew your business license!
The City of Carmel-by-the-Sea will be mailing out FY 2020-2021 Business License renewal worksheets the week of June 15-19, 2020. The license renewal fee is $19.00 and renewals are due no later than July 31, 2020.
The renewal tax is $1.00 per $1,000 of GROSS revenues for the period July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020.

2018 Annual Holiday Tree Lighting
Join the City for an afternoon of holiday festivities!
The City of Carmel-by-the-Sea will hold its Annual Holiday Tree Lighting on Friday, December 7, 2018, starting at 3:00 p.m. at Devendorf Park located at Ocean and Junipero Avenues.
Santa Claus will be in Devendorf Park from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to hear everyone’s holiday wishes and to pose for photographs. The Monterey Horns will be providing light music in the Park.
