Kids’ Author Talk: Meg Medina

Library Event

Author Meg Medina will join PBS Books to delve into the captivating narrative of her hit middle grade novel Merci Suárez Changes Gears, for which she was the recipient of the 2019 John D. Newbery Medal. In addition, she will discuss her recently published, follow-up book Merci Suárez Can’t Dance. As PBS focuses on programming about The Latino Experience and its incredible diversity, PBS Books is delighted to host Meg Medina to further explore her work, filled with characters and storylines that celebrate Latino/a/x identity and culture. While this event is for kids, it will be an evening of listening and learning for all!
