COVID Diaries Writing Workshop

Library Event

The California State Library is working with local libraries to collect COVID-19 stories from across the state, and showcasing them on the COVID Diaries website. Californians of all ages have responded by sending in original essays, poems, photographs, videos and works of art. After our workshop on Tuesday, September 22nd, we are hoping to have many more stories to share!

In the COVID Diaries Writing Workshop, presented by California Library Literacy Services, you can try out a fun and easy writing activity. Everyone, from very beginning to more advanced writers will be able to participate. You will also learn, step by step, how to upload your work to the website. You will also see a lot of neat writing ideas – for writers of all levels –  that you can use to tell your story.

This is our chance to record Californian’s responses to this pandemic for future generations. Please plan on joining us to share your story and RSVP today!
