Kumiko Uyeda is a pianist, composer, and an ethnomusicologist living in Oakland, California, U.S. She began piano lessons at the age of four in Japan and studied music in the United States at the University of the Pacific, Manhattan School of Music, and University of California Santa Cruz.
Benjamin Bregman has been studying and performing violin and viola since the age of four. Born in New Jersey, he first studied with Dorothy Roffman, director of the Thurnauer School of Music, and then with Patinka Kopec, co-director of the Pinchas Zukerman Performance Program at the Manhattan School of Music.
