The City of Carmel-by-the-Sea will hold its Annual Holiday Tree Lighting on Friday, December 7, 2018, starting at 3:00 p.m. at Devendorf Park located at Ocean and Junipero Avenues.

Santa Claus will be in Devendorf Park from 3:00 p.m.  to 5:30 p.m. to hear everyone’s holiday wishes and to pose for photographs. The Monterey Horns will be providing light music in the Park. 

The entertainment begins at 4:30 p.m. led by Master of Ceremonies Christine Sandin, Sunset Center and Artistic Director, featuring performances by the Junipero Serra School Choir, Monterey County Dance Kids, Jeremiah Lamph and Laurel Bowen from the Forest Theater Guild, The Dance Center, Myles Williams, and more. 

The Mayor, City Councilmembers, and Santa Claus, will lead the countdown to the tree lighting at 6:00 p.m.  

These activities are scheduled to proceed in good weather or in light rain.
