The Selection Committee for the 49th Annual Homecrafters’ Marketplace will jury new and returning vendors’ crafts on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at Vista Lobos in the JO Lumberyard Room between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.  Vista Lobos is located in Carmel-by-the-Sea on Torres between 3rd and 4th Avenues.  Carmel-by-the-Sea does not have street numbers; plan a few extra minutes and follow the signs.  For more information contact the Community Activities Department at 831-620-2020 or at communityactivities@ci.carmel.ca.us

Homecrafters’ is open to individuals and non-profit groups who produce new and non-duplicated home-crafted items

On September 4, 2019, please bring:

  • A completed copy of the 2019 Homecrafters' Jury Application
  • $25 jury fee (jury fees are NON-RFUNDABLE and must be paid in cash or check. Please make checks payable to the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea)
  • A copy of your valid California Seller’s Permit if you have one
  • Examples of your work to be evaluated by the Selection Committee (approximately 5-10 samples)
  • You are required to bring photographs of your work to leave with the judges (photos will not be returned)
  • A drawing of your proposed booth display setup

All applicants/vendors must appear in person and represent their own original work and if selected vendors may display and sell only the type of work which was juried. 

The Selection Committee will be selecting the most original and well-made crafts to be sold at the Homecrafters’ Marketplace

You will be notified by email if you are selected for the 2019 Homecrafters’ Marketplace. If Selected:

  • The fee for a 10 x 10 booth space is $205.
  • A valid California Seller’s Permit is required in order to participate
  • Vendors may display and sell only the type of work which was juried
  • Any vendor selling any food item will need to obtain and provide a copy of a Health Department Certificate from Monterey County
  • All vendors are responsible for their own setup, including tables, chairs and pop-up tent
  • All vendors are required to sign a seller’s contract with the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea
