City of Carmel-by-the-Sea’s Street Sweeping Schedule:

• Monday and Thursday the Downtown Area is swept starting at 5:30 a.m.
• Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Friday, residential areas are swept starting at 7a.m.
• Tuesdays and every other Friday, Scenic Road and Del Mar Avenue are swept starting at 7:30 a.m.
• The Downtown Area is also hand swept from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. on the days when residential areas are swept.

The schedule varies due to storms or vacations. Public Works provides the service and tries to adhere to the schedule.
