Since its first production in 1910, the Forest Theater has been a lively community theater, staging original plays by local playwrights alongside Shakespeare and Shaw on its stage among the pines. With a history of bringing the town from the audience onto the stage, the Forest Theater has kept the bohemian spirit of Carmel’s founding artists alive into the current day.
